    Certified Foodservice Sales Professional (CFSP)

    Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) Certification is administered by NAFEM, the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers.

    The objectives of the program are to:

    • Raise the professional standards and quality of the foodservice industry;
    • Encourage continuing educational development among foodservice professionals;
    • Foster self-assessment by offering guidelines for achievement in the foodservice industry; and
    • Award special recognition to those foodservice professionals who have demonstrated high levels of competence and ethics.
    To be considered for CFSP designation, candidates are required to successfully complete a written examination and provide documented evidence of foodservice activities. In addition to recognizing candidates for their industry and work-related efforts and experiences, NAFEM also believes strongly in crediting individuals for outstanding non-industry related accomplishments such as community service.
