MAFSI, (the Manufacturers' Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry), is celebrating 60 years! We are a non-profit trade association comprised of 330 independent manufacturers' representative agencies and 210 manufacturers in the United States, Canada and Mexico engaged in the sales and marketing of commercial foodservice equipment, supplies, tabletop and furnishings.

Our purpose is to elevate the business and ethical practices of our members. In doing so, we will better serve our manufacturers, dealers, operators and the industry. 

MAFSI membership of more than 500 member companies makes up more than 1,600 sales agents and outsourced sales professionals and 600 manufacturing executives.  MAFSI members are a major force in the equipment, supply, tabletop and furniture segment of the 400 billion dollar foodservice industry. 

MAFSI provides a number of services for its members including training and education, business management, sales and marketing and technology, industry policy development including ethical standards development, liaison with other industry groups, annual conferences, personal networking opportunities, and communication.

MAFSI is the voice of our industry. No business person or professional in the foodservice industry can afford to operate successfully without a central organization, a voice, a direct link to the industry itself. Alone, you are one individual, but together with others, you are strong, you are powerful, you have the ability to impact the direction of your industry.

Q1/09 Business Barometer Overall sales for Q1/9 contracted by -11% which was deeper than the previous forecast of -7.3%.
